🎉 Happy 2 Year Anniversary to our pun-loving, note-sheet-writing, client-helping superstar — Stacy! 💙

For the past 2 years, Stacy has been absolutely crushing it as an Accounting Assistant on our Onalaska team. She’s always eager to learn more, jump in to help wherever needed, and provide exceptional service to our clients every single day.

She’s also mastered the art of keeping notes… and then more notes… and then approximately 29,873 additional note sheets just to be safe 😉😂

Whether she’s bringing office humor, a perfectly timed pun, helping keep things organized, or talking about her beloved St. Bernards, Stacy brings so much positivity and personality to our team.

We are so grateful for everything she does and lucky to have such a hardworking, kind, and fun teammate.

🎉 Happy 13 Year Anniversary to our CPA, Manager, fearless leader, problem solver, office therapist, decision maker, and occasional team wrangler… Angie! 💙

For THIRTEEN years, Angie has somehow managed to wear approximately 472 hats at EWH — and wear them all incredibly well 😉

She is an extremely intelligent CPA, an incredible leader, and someone with one of the biggest and most generous hearts you’ll ever find. No matter how busy things get, Angie always wants what’s best for both our clients and our team.

She leads the Onalaska office with patience, kindness, and perseverance.

Earlier this year, Angie received the well-deserved EWH Leadership Award, and honestly, the things said about her perfectly describe the impact she has on everyone around her:

🎓 And just like that… the Class of EWH Onalaska has officially graduated! 🍎📚

Over the past few weeks, you've gotten to know the people behind the numbers a little better—from the Most Likely to Be Late to the Most Likely to Know What’s Going On, the Best Random Thoughts, the Best Laugh, and, of course, our fearless Valedictorian. 😂

But behind all the superlatives, coffee orders, chapstick, questionable desk supplies, baking skills, and occasional chaos is something we're even more proud of: an incredible team. 💙

Each person brings something different to EWH Onalaska, and that's exactly what makes this group work so well together. We support each other, make each other laugh, challenge each other, and—most importantly—show up for our clients.

🚨 The IRS 2026 Dirty Dozen is here—and scammers are getting creative.

Every year, the IRS releases its Dirty Dozen list to help taxpayers and tax professionals recognize common scams that can lead to identity theft, fraudulent tax filings, and financial loss. And these scams don't only happen during tax season—they can happen year-round.

Here are the 12 scams the IRS is warning taxpayers about in 2026:
1️⃣ IRS impersonation by email and text (phishing + smishing)
2️⃣ AI-enabled IRS impersonation by phone
3️⃣ Fake charities
4️⃣ Misleading tax advice on social media
5️⃣ Identity theft involving IRS Online Account access
6️⃣ Abusive undistributed long-term capital gains claims
7️⃣ Bogus “Self-Employment Tax Credit” promotion
8️⃣ Ghost preparers
9️⃣ Non-cash charitable contribution schemes
🔟 Overstated withholding schemes
