On April 22, the Governor signed into legislation the VA Paid Family & Medical Leave Act. While much of the details on this legislation is still to be determined, the part that got our attention was how it will be funded. According to the website "PFML will be funded by a small payroll contribution shared by covered employers and employees. VEC will begin collecting contributions on April 1, 2028."
