🍪 Happy National Dessert Day!
We spend a lot of time talking about keeping the books balanced, but today we're balancing something much more delicious—chocolate chip cookies!
PAS “Balanced Books” Chocolate Chip Cookies
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1¼ cups flour
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Cream the butter and sugars. Mix in the egg and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients, then fold in the chocolate chips. Scoop onto a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 9–11 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
And just like accounting, don't forget the most important step:
