📌📌April 15th is only 20 days away!📌📌

To ensure your return is completed by the deadline, all documents must be submitted by April 1st. Any information that comes in after April 1st has the chance of being put on extension. If you need an extension for tax year 2025, please call our office asap. Remember than an extension is only good for filing. If you have a balance due, a payment is still expected by April 15th.

PLEASE NOTE: dropping off documents just a day or two before the deadline does not guarantee completion. We want to give every client quality work — and early submissions help us do exactly that.

If you see this beautiful girl out or stop in the office. Wish her a happy 18th birthday. We are lucky to have her!! 🤍🎂

We would like to take a moment to address an issue that seems to be on the rise regarding tax refunds.

We have heard that tax returns are taking much longer to process, therefore delaying refunds. There are many different reasons why your refund is not being issued. Please do not automatically assume that your tax preparer has made a mistake. Trust is very important to us and if you don't have trust in us, we may not be a good fit. Here is a list of the most common reasons why your refunds are being held up.

📌Filing jointly for the first time with dependent credits often triggers extra IRS review. The most common reasons:
• Name/SSN mismatches after a name change
• New filing status = identity verification
• Child‑related credits (CTC, ACTC, EIC) get extra screening
• Multiple changes at once (address, bank info, dependents)
• W‑2/1099 mismatches between spouses
• Prior‑year filing differences (Single/HOH vs MFJ)

📌If you filed Head of Household with dependents and claimed a large Earned Income Credit, your refund may take longer this year.
Common reasons include:
• The PATH Act hold on all EIC/ACTC refunds until mid‑February
• Extra IRS checks for HOH status and dependent eligibility
• Identity or income verification if something doesn’t match IRS records
• High‑risk filters that review returns with large refundable credits

Once your tax returns have been electronically filed with us, we have ZERO control over your refunds. You will hear from the IRS directly before we do. You can always call the IRS directly at 1-800-829-1040.
