During this spring semester, Mark Mielke, founder of Texas A&M's first financial literacy program (The Money Wise Aggie), stepped in as a visiting lecturer to teach our FINP 335 course, Financial Readiness for the Military.

As a veteran, Mark knows the profound impact that solid financial foundations can have in the life of a service member.

We want to take a moment to honor his continued commitment to student success and share our gratitude for the time he generously gave in support of our program.

Thank you, Mark!

Our students recently returned from the first Texas A&M Financial Planning study abroad✈️

During their two week visit to the U.K., students (1) toured London’s Financial District, (2) met with local industry leaders, (3) explored the historic cities of York, Cambridge, and Bath, (4) visited the ancient ruins of Stonehenge, and more!

While visiting Cambridge American Cemetery And Memorial, which commemorates those lost in WWII, students were also able to honor a late relative of faculty advisor Dr. Nathan Harness.

It was a blast to connect with peers, be immersed in history, and learn how international financial markets compare to our own.
