🚨 TAX TIME PSA! 👀

Let me say this because I don’t think enough people understand it!

If you receive food stamps, SSI, SSDI, or Social Security and you’re self-employed, PLEASE be careful about what’s being reported on your tax return!

The government can verify income, and the last thing you want is to get a tax refund and turn around and have issues with your benefits!

Barbers, hairstylists, lash techs, DoorDash drivers, cleaners, and anybody else who’s self-employed, make sure you’re reporting your income correctly and keeping track of your expenses.

And let me be clear, being self-employed doesn’t automatically mean you can’t receive benefits. Every program has its own rules. The issue comes when income is made up, not reported, or expenses are claimed that you can’t prove.

Everybody wants a big refund, but a big refund isn’t worth creating a bigger problem later!

At Infinity Financial, we’re going to help you get every dollar you’re LEGALLY entitled to, but we’re also going to make sure we’re doing things the right way!
