The planning committee is excited about REST 2023. Our committee has been working diligently to make this a great Seminar and Training.

Sometimes, even with the best plans, things happen that require us to make changes. In this case, one of our speakers, Loreal Jiles, is unable to get to Reno for her presentation. Loreal was to speak in the Management & Leadership track on Thursday, 2/23, from 1:20 – 5:00 pm.

We are excited to have Kenny Kang, CPA, step in for this session. Kenny’s session will be “Cybersecurity for Accountants - What You Can Do Now”.

A change like this might have ripple effects. As an attendee, it might be the disappointment that you were looking forward to Loreal’s presentation. You are certainly welcome to take in the auditing session if you signed up for Loreal’s session. Or, maybe you now would like to take in the Cybersecurity session. You can make that decision once you get to the conference, nothing is needed from you at this time.

Update on COVID 19 protocols: As of February 10, 2022 masks are no longer required to be worn at indoor public facilities in the state of Nevada or Washoe County (Reno). The Atlantis has also announced that they will not require masks to be worn. Each individual may choose whether or not to wear a mask.
