Our mission is to help families successfully navigate the college admissions and financial aid planning process so their children can attend the college of their choice − regardless of the cost. The focus of our workshops is the FAFSA form and all the other financial aid you are eligible to receive. Even if your family is not eligible for need-based aid, we will cover the best strategies on how to pay for college without putting a strain on the rest of your finances.

This is how scam calls happen in 2026:
You get a phone call from your bank or brokerage house. Look at the caller ID since you don’t take unidentified calls anymore. Says it is from them; maybe even their fraud department with the number you have seen before. The caller states your account has been breached and you need to resolve the issue by moving the money to a new account.
Your LIFE SAVINGS depends on what you do next, and this SOUNDS very REAL.
If you follow the callers’ instructions because you REACT and are SCARED about LOSING ALL your money, you will be cleaned out 5 minutes from now.
Thank the caller for the information and HANG UP. Then, go find your known number and call it or go down to the local branch to verify activity. They will tell you what I am stating here, and that there is NO fraud activity on your account.
DO NOT ENGAGE IN ANY DISCUSSION WITH THE CALLER.
THEY WILL CALL AGAIN AND TRY AGAIN AND AGAIN. MAYBE EVEN FROM A DIFFERENT FINANCIAL INSTITUTION or they may say they’re from the FBI and they found that your money in your accounts were smuggling drugs into the country and if you don’t cooperate with them and let them use your money to catch the real culprits, you will be arrested.
HANG UP. Go to the bank or call the local branch. Call the police and or the FBI.
SAME THING GOES FOR AN EMAIL OR EVEN A TEXT.
Don’t think this will happen to you? Until it DOES.
