Rick Mayo, Wealth Manager at Raymond James Financial My Mission is to provide high standards of financial advice, efficienct communication, high end rese

I'm the son of a Watchmaker and Beautician, with an 8th grade education between them, raised in Hampton Roads Virginia. The Mayo's are a family of preachers, ministers and missionaries from Northeast North Carolina. You might say that service, outreach and finding answers is in my blood. For 41 years, and 30 years with Raymond James Financial Services, the constant in my practice is my systematic

approach to solving planning problems while integrating forward thinking solutions into my clients financial life. My mission continues to be reliability, high standards, efficiency and innovation in the prosecution of my clients financial plan. I have helped up to 4 generations of clients plan and meet their retirement and education goals throughout the years. Let me bring this experience, competence and diligence to your planning strategy. "You can't help anybody, until you love everybody" - "Jerry Maguire"

"Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care." -Theodore Roosevelt

"I help clients plan for retirement, where being retired is affordable and work is optional" - Rick Mayo

"Superior Service has an ease about, an invisible quality. It is most conspicuous in its absence"

After 41 years in practice, and 30 years with Raymond James Financial Services, the saying, “constant is change” in financial planning is accurate for my career. The constant is my systematic approach to stay current with new tax and retirement laws and use technology to solve financial problems for my clients in the face of the uncertain. My journey in the industry entering my 4th decade has allowed me to expand personally and help others in pursuit of their goals. Initial consultations can be done in person or virtually with no cost or obligation.
